So, have you been wondering where the heck I’ve been? In 2018 I was publishing weekly, yet I seem to have dropped off the podcasting Earth in 2019. I’m here to give you the reasons why, in hopes that we can hang together as I repair and resume work on the podcast.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. Sharing your story allows others to view your podcast with more compassion than critique, be more forgiving about the extra time in between episodes and appreciate the extra effort it takes to make it happen.

I’m a GenXr with depression and anxiety and an aspiring podcaster. One thing that has kept me from starting podcasting is the worry that I can’t keep the pace due to my illness. It is inspiring to know that others have made it work, pursues their passion in the face of mental health challenges. More and more I know that I will also share this part of my story as part of my own future podcast.

You can do it, Melissa. You can set yourself any pace you like – once a month, irregularly, whatever works for you. I highly recommend a group on Facebook called Cut the Bullshit Podcasting. Thousands of podcasters and aspiring podcasters belong, and there are tons of support, love and humor there.

I appreciate your support, and you understanding what I was trying to say and do – and I am so glad that you listen, too! You hang in there. Keep moving forward one step at a time and the next right action will arise.
